The Club has a vibrant membership enjoying the comforts of a well appointed bar and lounge area with a stage and dance floor. A large screen is available for viewing big events and two television sets are conveniently placed for those who want to watch different programs. Satellite TV is available on all three screens. A dart board is available on request provided its use does not interfere with other events and four full sized snooker tables are available on the first floor - players have to pay for the table lighting.

The stage and dance floor area can be separated from the main lounge  providing an area with a small bar for private functions or meeting space, as used by the local book club which is independent from the club.

Membership is by annual subscription due on 1st January every year (and must be renewed before the 1st February of that year) which entitles the member free admission [unless the committee has levied a fee for a particular event] at all times and social events, including the Saturday night entertainment.

Members Guests are very welcome but must be signed in for a small fee of 2.00 per session and 5.00 on Saturday nights. Though only members are allowed to make purchases from the bar.

Prospective new members are usually proposed and seconder by a current member and after completion and submission of an application form are asked to go before the committee.

However if you are interested in joining the Club but do not know a member then please download and complete the application form and  it post to The Secretary, The Comrades Club, 194 Brighton Road, Coulsdon, Surrey, CR5 2NF for consideration.

The Club also has an Associate Membership which is currently unavailable due to over subscription. Associate members have the same access to the clubs facilities but have no voting rights and are not permitted to sign in guests and is usually taken by the spouse, or partner, of a full member who wishes to use the clubs facilities on separate occasions.

The 2014 Rule Book is available here.
